Workshop Citizen Circles of Support / M.H. van de Lustgraaf, Nfactory
In this interactive workshop you will meet the concept of Citizen Circles of Support (CCS). These informal networks, build up by volunteers, improve the welfare and conditions of live of any fellow citizen who wants them to. They meet the universal needs of a citizen for having good company, playing a role in society and getting support.
Since every citizen has its own personal needs en situation, every circle of support has its own personal size, dynamics and character. People attend in different way’s, on a voluntary base, just because they relate to, sympathize with or show interest in the well being of their fellow citizen. (as familymember, a friend, a neighbour, fellowstudent). The circle-building volunteers are supervised and trained in the principles of informal support and low-key homeconferences.
In this workshop you will be presented a step-by-step approach. We invite you to discuss with us the dilemma’s and conditions.
